THE CHAPLET OF THE DIVINE MERCY
Our Lord's words to Blessed Sister Faustina:
"You will recite (this prayer)...on the ordinary part of the rosary (beads) in the following manner:
"First of all you will recite one OUR FATHER, and HAIL MARY. And I BELIEVE IN GOD… Then, on the 'Our Father' beads you will say the following words:
Eternal Father,
I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly
beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
In atonement for our sins
And those of the whole world.
"On the 'Hail Mary" beads you will recite the following words:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion
Have mercy on us and on the whole world.
"In conclusion you will recite three times these words:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
Have mercy on us and on the whole world."
HOUR OF GREAT MERCY (3 O' CLOCK pm)
Our Lord told Blessed Sister Faustina : "At three o' clock implore My mercy
especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, steep yourself in My
Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is
the hour of great mercy for the whole world. I will allow you to enter in to
My deathlike sorrow. In this hour I will refuse nothing to the soul that
makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion."
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and the
ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O fount of life,
unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty
yourself out upon us. O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the
Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.
